Beginnings of Creation. Graeme Fancourt. 14 September 2008. Genesis 1. Graeme encourages us to come with an enquiring mind, being prepared to be humble, accepting that others may disagree with our views, and that we can both hold our views in good conscience. He points out that the debate between Galileo and the church is not a good example - and goes on to encourage us to learn from a dialogue between science, which seeks to explain the 'how' of creation, and our faith which helps us to understand the 'why'.
