Children

Children are welcomed and valued at Wokingham Baptist Church, seen as part of our overall family and contributing to our worship and service in the community.

On a Sunday the children form into the following Trekkers groups:

Ramblers: age 3 to 5

A group for pre-school children, introducing them to the love of Christ through stories and craft.

Scrambers: age 5 to 7

For children currently at infant school, developing their knowledge of Christ through sharing stories, worship, games and craft.

Climbers: age 7 to 11

For Junior School aged children exploring together what it means to follow Christ through stories and Bible groups, worship, games and craft.

Through the year the above groups have special events and parties on Saturday or Sunday afternoons, which as well as the Sunday mornings are fun & action packed, and are great times to bring friends along to.

Girls aged 5 to 18 can join the Girl's Brigade which has activities on Monday evenings during term time (unfortunately currently there is no Boy's Brigade).
