Lynn noted that at this phase in Ephesians there is a shift in emphasis from being a 'one people' to a 'holy people'. Lynn noted that there are a number of different ways we can approach Sundays and the study of the Bible. Lynn asked the congregation “What are the values that the people of Wokingham live by? What shapes our life? She then followed up with the question “What are the values Jesus' followers live by? From both of these questions Lynn obtained responses from the congregation. Lynn then looked at the process of adult baptism, that is practised in the Baptist churches. We put off the old and pick up the new, linking into a passage form Romans. How are we going to have a vision for Jesus and the new life? – only be reading and living our of what we have in the bible. Lynn pointed to a helpful web site wordlive.org.
