A monthly lunch for retired people to meet each other in a relaxed and friendly environment. Bring along a friend and enjoy a well priced tasty snack, followed by free tea or coffee.

 

Runs 12.15pm to 2pm on the first Thursday of each month.

 

A group of retired folk meet each Thursday afternoon for chat and friendship, with occasional speakers.

 

On the second Sunday of each month, a tea is served at 5pm ahead of the service at 6pm. A great chance to get to meet people before going into the evening worship service.

 

Currently small teams of volunteers go into the Suffolk Lodge and Berkshire nursing homes on a rota basis shared with other churches to take a simple half an hour of worship with the residents.
