 This well known passage shows the scope of the events and seasons that we may experience. The seasons of life come with a certain rhythm, but sometinmes it appears that the rhythm is essentially random. Is it possible to control these rhythms? We can control how we react to the events and seasons, dealing with them in a positive way. God is ultimately in control, but he allows us freedom to control our lives. Sometimes it seems that events occur out of season - we wonder were the normal rhytms have gone. But we can trust God who controls all things. The key is to embrace the season that we are in, looking to God and listening to what he has to say to us through our life. |
