Care and Share craft group
A drop-in for all kinds of craft with tea/coffee and chat to which all are welcome.
2nd and 4th Wednesdays in the lecture room from 2pm to 4pm.

Men's Prayer Breakfast
Every Friday morning a number of men meet at the Church from 7:00 am (in the Lecture room – the right hand side of the Church) for about an hour of sharing and prayer followed by breakfast. For obvious reasons we call ourselves ‘Men’s Prayer Breakfast’. The group includes men from within the church as well as visitors and friends from other churches. The group is not only for retirees but men of all ages – all are welcome. Our prime objective is to have time to share our joys and worries with each other and with our Lord in a time of prayer, as well as making friends. Text messaging link us with others who are not able to come along or who live in other parts of the world.

Following our time of prayer we share in a very filling breakfast – there is no charge. Usually this is a continental style meal with juice, cereal, croissants as well as coffee and tea. On a few occasions during the year, usually Easter and Christmas, we indulge in a full English cooked breakfast with all the trimmings cooked by us.
We usually have about 10-12 men come along but we have been known to have more than 30.
Please feel free to come along and join us – ALL are welcome. Arriving late or leaving early for work is no problem - we just want to have a time of fellowship together and with our Lord

Music groups
Music is an important part of our church life. The church has a range of instrumentalists and singers who contribute to the musical side of our worship.

Sunday Prayer
Each Sunday morning between 9.45am and 10.15am a group meet in the church vestry to wait on God in preparation for the morning service.
After the end of morning worship a prayer team is available to pray with any one wishes to be prayed for.

Sunday Tea
On the first Sunday of each month, a tea is served at 5.30pm ahead of the 6.30pm communion service . A great chance to get to meet people before going into the evening worship service.

Drama
A number of people in the church use their artistic skills within worship. Regular drama based meetings are not held but the group often writes and performs their own sketches within Sunday worship, complimenting the theme of the service. In addition they have written and produced their own Pantomimes.

Thursday Afternoon Group
This group meets on the third Thursday afternoon each month at 2pm. Activities include speakers, quizzes, musical afternoons and visits out for tea.
On the first Thursday the Group are invited to come along to the Church Lunch.{/slide}

Nursing Home Services
