Women’s World Day of Prayer – Friday 2nd March 7.30pm
All are welcome at the Women’s World Day of Prayer Service, which this year is being hosted by Corpus Christi, Sturges Road. The women of Suriname, formerly Dutch Guyana, have planned the service this year with the with title ‘All God’s Creation is Very Good!’ With its vast rainforest and wealth of resources, Suriname asks us to pray for conservation and the protection of wildlife, through an awareness of pollution, misuse and abuse, as well as for the situation in Suriname and concerns for the future. This is not simply a day of prayer for women, but for everyone who cares about our world and those who live in it. Hope to see you there!

Open Door Retreat - starting April 19th
Are you in need of some restoration and some time and space to connect with God, with the support of others? If so you might be interested in an Open Door Retreat, which we are looking to offer after Easter. Open Door retreats are a way of spending quality time deepening our relationship with God, without travelling for miles, or spending a fortune. http://www.retreats.org.uk/documents/leaflets/11_Open_Door_retreats.pdfWe have run the course (which lasts for about 8 weeks) twice at WBC before - they are led by very skilled and experienced facilitators. We need a minimum of 8 people to make a group viable. If you think this might be for you, please speak to Anna Rogerson in the next couple of weeks to express an interest.
