Temporarily closing the building... again
It was so good to meet in the church building for the service yesterday morning (and we're sorry if you missed out this time)!
As part of the government's four week lockdown, the services we had planned to hold in the building in November will now have to take place online, and and we won't be able to meet physically in small groups with other households. However, we want to do all that we can to make sure that we stay connected as a church family.
If you're not already doing so, is now the time to link up with us on Facebook? As well as our public page there is a private Wokingham Baptist Church Prayer Room for church family messages and prayer requests. Do feel free to post messages or requests there, words of encouragement, things that you are finding spiritually helpful.
Please get in touch with the church office or leadership team if you want to join a small group, find out about Zoom meetings that are taking place, or to be added to the email distribution list for news and updates. You can also get in touch with the pastoral care team.
Though we will remain scattered for a time, let’s keep in contact with one another, encouraging each other through this time, looking for opportunities to serve others as we are able. And let’s keep in touch with our brothers and sisters in Christ, particularly keeping an eye out for those who we sense might be struggling during this further time of restrictions.
May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word
2 Thess. 2:16.
