Yeldall Manor Annual Open Day

17 June 2022 14:34

After two years of virtual events only, Yeldall Manor is delighted to welcome people for fellowship, fun and food at their annual Open Day on the afternoon of Saturday 2nd July.

At 12.30pm the gates open for a hog roast (£5) or bring your own picnic.

At 1.00pm stalls and games open for all the family. These include a bouncy castle, golf, football game, craft items to buy, hoopla, face painting, coconut shy as well as ice creams and teas/coffees.

At 3.00pm we will gather on the lawn for a service of celebration to mark the graduations of some of the men who have completed the programme over the past year, there are only a limited number of chairs available for those who most need them. After the service, we will end the afternoon with a strawberry tea on the lawn, courtesy of our friends at Grays Farm.

Please join us and bring your friends and family to enjoy our lovely grounds whilst finding out more about the work of this local Christian drug and alcohol recovery centre. To find Yeldall use postcode RG10 9TA, it’s off Blakes Lane, Hare Hatch, Reading. There is free parking and admission. You may like to bring cash, something to sit on and a reusable mug for hot/cold drinks.

For those who can't make it (or have any cold or Covid symptoms, however minor), the celebration service itself will still be live-streamed from 3.00pm on Facebook and YouTube.
