Acts 2: 36-47

This Sunday morning we celebrate the Nonde's baptism. We also start a new series called Baptist Distinctives, looking at the Baptist way of being church. People in our congregation come from a range of Christian backgrounds which gives us a rich diversity, but what are the biblical roots of what Baptist Christians believe about church, what we do and how we do it? This week, appropriately, we consider what Baptists believe about baptism!

John 20: 19-31

In this Sunday's all age service we reflect on the events after the resurrection, when Jesus appeared to his disciples. They were fearful and confused and Jesus had some surprising words for them, not least for Thomas who struggled to believe.

Luke 24: 1-8

Happy Easter! We celebrate the most important day in the Christian calendar at our all-age Easter Sunday service.

John 12: 12-19

This Palm Sunday we have a visiting preacher, Brad Croucher, who works at Yeldall Manor. He will be talking about his experience of the ministry of Celebrate Recovery, and preaching on John 12:12-19.

Genesis 18: 16-33

Luke 1: 39-56

In our Mothering Sunday communion service we reflect on the prayer of Mary, the mother of Jesus, after she learned that she was to bear God’s son. It's an expression of praise and thanks, full of hope for what God is doing for her and for His people. How often do you praise God, and why? What we can learn from Mary's prayer about our own prayers of praise?

Philippians 1: 1-11

This week we reflect on the first chapter of Philippians where Paul expresses his gratitude for the believers of Philippi. What can we learn from his example of how to pray for other Christians?

Psalm 51

David has been described as a man after God’s own heart, and yet the abuse of his power led him to commit grievous and shocking sin. What can we draw from his prayer of confession, the first step on his path to forgiveness and restoration?

In this service we also celebrate communion.

Matthew 14: 22-36

This week we start our new series for the new year, 'Lord, teach us to pray', thinking about the story of Peter’s walk on the water and his desperate prayer in a time of crisis: “Lord save me!”

 This Sunday morning we will be looking back over the past year and looking forward to the coming year which is our 250^th anniversary.
