2 Timothy1: 1-14

This Sunday we celebrate Wokingham Baptist Church’s 250^th Anniversary, with a service of celebration with preacher Rev Lynn Green, General Secretary of the Baptist Union, and other invited guests including the Deputy Mayor of Wokingham and former Ministers and Staff Team members of the church.

Acts 16: 16-34

This Sunday is an All Age Service led by our Children and Families Worker Lois Theobald. We continue our series 'Five Stories from the book of Acts', exploring the time when Paul and Silas didn't escape from prison, and what happened to their jailer as a result!

We are delighted also to be commissioning Londy Chan to her new role as Hong Kong Project Coordinator with the Baptist Union during our service.

Acts 16: 6-15

This Sunday we continue our series 'Five stories from the book of Acts', as Paul and his companions seek God's will for the way ahead. The story raises questions about how we can know what God wants us to do: how does God guide us? We also meet Lydia, the woman who was the first Christian convert on European soil.

This Sunday is the third Sunday in the month so there is no livestream or video. We have our normal third Sunday services and activities:

This Sunday we celebrate communion and continue our series "Five stories from the book of Acts", reflecting on the story of Peter's escape from prison.

Acts 9: 1-19

This Sunday we explore the story of Paul's encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus.

John 21: 1-21

This Sunday we conclude our series, "Come, dine with me". Jackie Mouradian leads our service and reflects on the last chapter of John's gospel, where Jesus meets with some of the disciples after a fruitless night's fishing and they share breakfast on the beach. One of those disciples is Simon Peter who is still feeling the guilt and shame of his denial of Jesus before his crucifixion. We see how Jesus compassionately and graciously restores him and recommissions him for the journey ahead.

Joshua 1: 1-8 and 21: 43-45

This Sunday we are delighted to welcome our friends and mission partners from Tek Ura, Dan and Annie Dupree and two of their children. They will be sharing about the work of Tek Ura in Albania, at a time of significant growth and change for the work there. Dan will be preaching from the book of Joshua and reflecting on the faithfulness of God.

Luke 22: 7-27

In our All-Age Service this week Lois continues our series, "Come, dine with me". Usually we celebrate communion on the second Sunday of the month, but as Lois will be reflecting on the Last Supper, we will include communion in this service.

Luke 10: 38-42 and John 12: 1-3

This Sunday Savannah leads our service, continuing our series, 'Come dine with me', reflecting on the story of Mary and Martha.

John 2: 1-12

This week we continued our series 'Come dine with me', reflecting on Jesus' first miracle at the wedding at Cana. Unfortunately, there is no livestream recording available for this week.
