Garden Event

We had such a great time at our community Garden Event last year that we have decided to do it all again.

This year’s event will be taking place on Saturday 16 May on the church drive, and in the hall and foyer. There will be a bring and buy plant sale, children’s activities, and free tea, coffee and cake.

Full details will follow, but in the meantime, we would love some help.

If you grow your own plants from seed, please consider planting a few extra seeds this year and bring along some plants to the plant sale. Flowers, vegetables, herbs – all welcome. Similarly, if you are splitting any perennials this spring, we would appreciate any that you have spare. We are hoping for a few more house plants this year too, as some of our visitors may not have gardens.

We are also looking for volunteers to bake cakes, and we will need people to help on day (in the kitchen and outside supervising plant sales etc.).
